Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Residential construction jobsite Superintendent. A successful applicant should be motivated, hardworking, reliable, and have good leadership, communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills. If you are a talented leader with extensive knowledge of residential construction join our team as a jobsite construction superintendent. You will put your leadership skills to good use, managing a team of subcontractors and suppliers, creating schedules and planning all aspects of the construction project, both technical and practical. You will be the key professional responsible for overseeing the entire jobsite and project and ensuring it does not hit any issues or delays. If any problems do arise, you will have the critical thinking and decision-making abilities to resolve it quickly, effectively and creatively to stay on the projected schedule.


  • Manage all functions of the job site as it relates to new home construction.
  • Visit multiple jobsites each day to monitor activities and securing the jobsite at the end of the day.
  • Coordination and scheduling of all subcontractors and trades, motivate and monitor their progress & maintain high quality standards and ensure construction is performed in accordance with plans, specifications and building
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
  • Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with subcontractors, customers and city inspectors & officials.
  • Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work and Perform quality
    control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Update Schedule, To-Dos, Daily Logs, Photos, and Timesheets, utilizing internal based Software.
  • Order materials and supplies and schedule deliveries. Check and approve invoices.
  • Always be alert and maintain a safe work site and enforce safe work habits
  • Be aware of applicable building codes and verify that all city inspections are complete and passed by the city
  • Maintain a clean jobsite and hold subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up on jobsites.
  • Analyze and resolve conflicts and issues that occur among subs and suppliers to maintain job flow

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Minimum of 5 years of construction superintendent experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Have Strong leadership, planning, scheduling, analysis, problem solving and management skills
  • Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills (in English)
  • Excellent understanding of home construction and the ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift 50 pound objects.
  • Be decisive, flexible & work well under pressure when faced with unexpected situations or delays and in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
